The road to the GSEA Global Semifinals just got even more exciting. 🌍

Over the past three days, 15 student entrepreneurs from 12 countries gathered in Cape Town for the final GSEA Regional of the season, competing for six coveted spots in the Global Semifinals.

But GSEA is about more than competition. It’s about building lifelong connections, learning from fellow founders and EO members, and experiencing the entrepreneurial spirit that makes every host city unique. Between pitches, conversations, and exploring the beauty of the Mother City, these founders created memories that will last long after the competition.

The innovation on display was nothing short of inspiring. From transforming plastic waste into fuel and biodegradable alternatives to plastics, to creating sustainable sanitary pads from banana fiber, AI-powered healthcare, edtech, clean energy, and beyond, MEPA entrepreneurs proved that the next generation isn’t waiting to solve the world’s biggest challenges.
