Eckerd Connects’ Central LA JJ provides detention services to youth currently engaged with the juvenile court in central Louisiana.

Eckerd Connects’ Central LA Juvenile Justice (CLAJJ) program provides Diversion services to youth currently engaged with the Juvenile Court. These programs are available through referrals from FINS, DA and Office of Juvenile Justice (OJJ) staff. Central LA Juvenile Justice Program was developed in partnership with the State of Louisiana Office of Juvenile Justice to serve youth in Central Louisiana since 2019.

Today, the Eckerd Connects’ Opportunity Youth Program is hosting an interactive, high‑energy evening designed for youth ages 16–24. Expect team challenges, engaging games, and opportunities to explore career pathways, education options, and local support services—all in a fun, welcoming environment.

Caregivers, siblings, and community partners are encouraged to attend and be part of the experience. This is a night focused on teamwork, shared wins, and building momentum toward a brighter future.
