Many pastors wonder: "Would this actually work in a church like mine?"

The answer is yes — and not just in megachurches.

Pastors leading churches of every size have discovered the same thing: when they made relational health a priority, everything else started to shift.

- Deeper engagement from the pews
- Volunteers who show up — and stay
- Marriages that are stronger
- Families that are more connected

Because the core issue in most struggling churches isn't programming. It's people who aren't relationally healthy.

See how churches like yours are leading this change.

Church growth is not fixed by adding more programs. Discover a relationship centered strategy that strengthens families and drives lasting church renewal and growth.

The average American wedding now costs $34,000.

67% of newlyweds go into debt to pay for it.

Wedding loan rates can run as high as 35.99% APR.

And the median age of first marriage? 30.8 for men. 28.8 for women.

In 1975, it was 23 and 21. Something has gone badly wrong.

Our founder J.P. De Gance made that case today in The Wall Street Journal — and it's a piece every pastor, parent, and anyone who cares about the next generation needs to read.

We've turned one of life's most sacred days into a production that's pricing young people out of one of life's most transformative decisions. We've told an entire generation they need the right job, the right savings, the dream venue, the designer dress, and the perfect multi-day destination event before they can justify saying "I do."

And so they wait.

And the data tells us exactly what waiting costs — in loneliness, in mental health, in children never born, in lives lived apart that could have been lived together.

A backyard celebration with family isn't a failure. A church wedding followed by a modest reception isn't settling. Using your savings for a home and a stable start isn't unromantic. What's unromantic is asking two people who love each other to take out a high-interest loan just to begin their life together.

May is almost over.

You've watched the videos. You've read about metanoia. You've thought about your church.

Here's the question that matters now:
Are you going to do something different this summer — or return to the same patterns come fall?

There's no pressure in that question. Some churches aren't in the right season. Some leaders have more urgent fires.

But if something this month landed for you — if you've caught yourself nodding and then wondering what this would actually look like in my church — that's the conversation we'd like to have.

No pitch. No deck. Just a conversation about what the next 90 days could look like for you.

If you’re ready to find out what this could look like in your church, schedule a conversation today.

If May has been more conviction than action, this is where that changes.

J.P. DeGance shares seven practical starting points for building a marriage ministry that actually holds.

Not principles.
Not theory.
Real starting points for a church like yours.

If this month has stirred something, you're not alone.

We've been hearing from pastors across the country who are ready to make marriage ministry a real priority. Not a program that starts and stalls. A system that holds.

The next step isn't just personal conviction. It's getting your team aligned.

We built a resource specifically for that conversation — a guide for XPs and senior pastors walking their leadership team or elder board through what a real marriage ministry investment looks like, what questions they'll ask, and how to answer them.

Because the vision stays on your whiteboard if your team isn't with you.

Two conversations this week. One consistent message.

America is hungry for what the local church was built to provide.

J.P. De Gance joined Tammy & Jay Daughtry on the ModFam Traffic Jam podcast to talk about how churches can become real hubs for marriage and family health — at every stage of life.

He also spoke with The National Desk about new Pew Research showing religion's influence is rising — and why a thriving church is America's most effective answer to growing government dependency.

The data and the cultural moment are pointing in the same direction. Is your church ready to meet the moment?

Metanoia isn't a church strategy.

It's a change of mind so complete it changes what you do, how you spend your time, and what you build.

The pastor who experiences metanoia around marriage doesn't ask "what should we add?"

He asks "what is the church actually for?"

When that question gets answered honestly, marriage ministry stops being a program to manage. It becomes a conviction to build from.

And convictions get built differently than programs.

Metanoia.

It's the Greek word behind "repentance" in the New Testament, but the translation doesn't capture it.

Metanoia means a complete change of mind. Not regret. Not a new program.

A fundamental shift in how you see things.

The church that experiences metanoia around marriage doesn't add a marriage series to an already-full calendar.

It rebuilds the calendar around what actually matters.

Our president and founder wrote about what this looks like, and what it requires.

A 25-year-old stay-at-home mom from rural Missouri just won American Idol — not with a power ballad, but with a song about reheating her coffee for the third time and Hot Wheels on the floor.

120 million views later, the culture is telling us something.

People aren’t weeping over “String Cheese” because it’s a great song. They’re weeping because it feels like a dispatch from a world they’re not sure exists anymore — the world of faithful love, sacrifice, village, and vocation.

Our founder J.P. De Gance wrote about why this moment matters and what it means for the Church.

Worth the read.

After watching the 7 Enemies video, which one is running your church?
Let us know in the comments.

For most pastors, it's not one. It's a few working together.

Busyness that masks itself as faithfulness. Comparison that quietly convinces you your church isn't ready. Past failures that make starting over feel pointless.

Metanoia — real change, not just new programs — starts with naming the enemy honestly.

Because you can't fight what you haven't named.
