Clara Lee Vantrease was one of the first seniors I met when I became Director of the Senior center. She welcomed me and supported me every day. She was one of a kind. The amount of sass in the petite frame was amazing. Thank you for the wonderful memories, I will miss you. Until we meet again….I love you.

2026 Senior Day at the Fair!
Thank you to all the vendors that came and helped make this day wonderful. Thank you Michael Hale and family and Dekalb Funeral Chapel for all the wonderful door prizes and gifts. Thank you Wilson Bank and Wellworth Bank for sponsoring the delicious meal. Thank you to the Fair Board for putting it all together. And a very special thank you to each and every senior that came out. If it weren’t for you, none of this would be possible.

Sadly, we have lost another friend at Alexandria Activity Center. Eddie Reynolds was such a great guy. He always had a smile on his face. He loved shooting pool and cutting up. Eddie you truly will be missed.
