This weekend, Cenla Healthy Start proudly hosted our Community Doula Training, led by Melissa Harley with DONA International!

This training provides participants with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to become doulas and support families throughout pregnancy and birth. By increasing access to trained doulas in our community, we are taking an important step toward improving maternal and infant health outcomes across Central Louisiana.

A special thank you to Humana Healthy Horizons for sponsoring this training and investing in healthier beginnings for mothers, babies, and families throughout our region. Your support helps create lasting positive change in maternal and birth outcomes in Cenla.

Together, we are building a stronger network of support for families and working toward healthier pregnancies, safer births, and brighter futures. 💜
