Thanks to the incredible support and generosity of our community, we reached our goal for this year’s Christmas Pulled Pork Fundraiser. 💌

A huge thank you to the Alexandria District Probation and Parole Office for taking the lead and helping make this fundraiser such a success. We are so grateful to everyone who purchased plates, volunteered their time, and supported this effort.

Because of you, more children impacted by foster care will experience the joy, love, and magic of Christmas.🎄

It was a wonderful day at “Hope Starts Here” at Bethany Church! ✝️✨💙 We are so grateful for all the churches and individuals who partner together to create safe and faithful homes for children in Louisiana.

Not all heroes just wear capes…
some get involved and make a difference in the lives of children impacted by foster care 🦸🌟✨

🗓️ Join us Saturday, November 14th at 8am for the 2026 Superheroes for Kids 5K & Fun Run, where every step, cape, and smile helps children impacted by foster care feel loved, safe, and supported by our community.

🏃 Registration opens at 8am, race begins at 8:30am.

October is Youth Voice Month 📢🌟🤍

Our YOU+CO program believes that every youth impacted by foster care deserves a voice. Every story, experience and testimony matters and should be amplified.

For our Youth Community Night, we spent time discussing the power of our voice, why our voice matters and how to effectively communicate it. We also got to celebrate some special birthdays! 🎂

If you’ve been impacted by foster care, we hope you know not only in October but every month, YOUR VOICE MATTERS. Your story matters. You matter. 💌

A car and bike show was such a fun way to kick off SOCKtober! Thank you to the Louisiana Widows Sons Ruffians Chapter for putting on such a fun event in support of Fostering Community. We loved seeing everyone come out, show off their rides, and bring socks and other essentials for children and families impacted by foster care.

Thank you to the Skinny's Performance & Custom Cycle, everyone who organized the event, the volunteers and participants, and everyone who stopped by.
