Romanian endangered synagogues Romanian endangered synagogues is an initiative of a small group of individuals interested in the rehabilitation and preservation of the Romanian Synagogues.

The present project came as a reaction to the high level of corruption and bureaucracy in Romania that is unwilling to make the slightest effort in preserving these monuments. The Jewish Community along with locals have stumbled upon legal basic authorization papers for initiating rehabilitation projects. Everyone is welcome to join and propose ideas to help us save these monuments. Our children should be untitled to see history with their own eyes.
