Join us for our first Fairhaven Fix It Day of the year! 🛠️💙

This Sunday, neighbors will come together to give our community center a little TLC. Whether you can stay for an hour or the whole afternoon, we'd love to have you lend a hand!

We'll be:
✨ Buffing the floors
🎨 Touching up paint
📦 Organizing closets
🌿 Tackling yard work
📚 Building our very own Little Free Library

It's a great opportunity to meet your neighbors, make a visible difference, and help create a welcoming space for everyone who uses the community center.

Hi neighbors,

Just a friendly reminder that the Fair Haven Citizens Association community meeting is coming up on Wednesday, June 3, at 6:30 p.m. at the Fair Haven Community Center, 2409 Fort Drive.

Here is the agenda for the evening:

Richmond update from Virginia Delegate Garrett McGuire, former president of the Fair Haven Citizens Association

Election of board officers and board members under our updated bylaws

Other business and time for neighbors to raise questions, ideas, or concerns

For the election, we’ll be voting for:

President
Vice President
Treasurer
Secretary
Up to four additional board members

Only dues-paying member households may vote, and voting is one vote per household. If your household is already a dues-paying member, you’re all set. If not, you can join in person at the Community Center before the meeting and pay dues there or via Zelle. Please plan to arrive a little early if you’d like to join in person so we can get everyone checked in before voting begins.

Nominations are still open until the meeting begins. If you’d like to nominate someone for any of the officer positions or for one of the up to four additional board seats, please email [email protected]. If needed, we may also be able to take nominations in person at the meeting, but sending them by June 2 will help us keep the meeting moving smoothly.

Whether you’re voting, joining, or just coming to listen and connect with neighbors, we’d love to see you there.

No RSVP needed. Just come on by!

🎃🔥 Join us for our Inaugural Halloween Party at the Fairhaven Community Center! 🔥🎃

Bring the whole family for a night of spooky fun by the bonfire! We’ll be outside passing out candy, mingling with neighbors, and enjoying a kid-friendly Halloween movie on the big projector. Light snacks and drinks will be provided.
