Do you have lots of junk around your house that you've been meaning to get rid of? Do your children have more toys than they need? Do you have clothing that you haven't worn in years? Do you have equipment, dishes, pet supplies, or flatware that is taking up space in your home?

It's time to get rid of clutter taking up space! Sell those items from your own home during this weekend's community yard sale! On Saturday June 3rd from 8am - 12pm Riverside Estates will have a community yard sale and invite neighbors to buy our used items.

The community yard sale will be promoted by RECA on NextDoor, Craigslist, Facebook, in the monthly newsletter, by RECA email, and on the sandwich boards. In addition, we encourage those who intend to sell items, to promote their own goods (by listing items online and putting up pictures) to draw neighbors to this event.

Don't forget this Sunday (4/30) is the Spring Fling Picnic Potluck hosted by the Riverside Estates Civic Association from 11am-1pm at the vacant lot on Battersea Lane. Come on out for some good food, meet your neighbors, and enjoy the Spring weather! The weather should be warm and the picnic is a nice opportunity to get outside, without doing yard work!
