The final tallies are in and we can officially announce the success of our Dinner in the Dark fundraising event coordinated by Lion Jackie Auerbach! Together we raised $7,200. We want to thank all of our sponsors, donors, attendees, and everyone who helped make this event possible including the generous individuals that provided our Silent Auction items. All 31 donated items were purchased during the event. We are so pleased to be donating $3,600 to the Louisiana Center For The Blind in Ruston, LA to allow them to continue to offer training to low vision and blind individuals so they may live independently and $3,600 to Lions Clubs International Foundation to further assist Lions worldwide in their efforts to protect vision and treat preventable blindness.
And in case you missed the event this year, check out some images below and let us know in the comments if you would like an invite to attend next year.
