Mark your calendars! FroYo2Go is hosting a special community fundraiser supporting the Military Homeschoolers Association (MHA) on Wednesday, October 28th, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM!
Whether you stop in for a hot loaded baked potato or treat the kids to froyo, a portion of all sales during event hours will go directly toward MHA’s global advocacy and resources for military families.
Bring the family out, meet other local homeschooling parents, and support a great cause!

Our Founder & Executive Director, Natalie Minor Mack . will be presenting on Homeschool to College for Fort Meade’s virtual College Fair on Thursday, October 22 at 6 pm EST.

The virtual sessions are open to high school schoolers everywhere, but please note that the in-person event is strictly reserved for 10th through 12th graders (both military and non-military connected).

⚓ Happy Birthday to the U.S. Navy! 🇺🇸
On October 13, we celebrate the founding of the United States Navy in 1775 and honor the generations of sailors who have served our nation at sea.
For military homeschool families, the Navy’s birthday is also an opportunity to explore naval history, learn about life at sea, and recognize the sacrifices of the sailors and families who serve together.

📦 BOX IT! Grab a big box, decorate it with Halloween spirit, and turn it into your very own costume donation station!

🧡 DONATE IT! Find a local donation closet, church, community organization, or another place that can get those costumes into the hands of families who need them. Ask a local fire station, police department, or store if they'd be willing to help!

Homeschool paperwork has a way of piling up! October is a good time to take a little look at what you have and get things organized before the year gets away from you. Gather your attendance records, samples of your kids’ work, transcripts, testing information, and important education documents. A simple binder or digital folder for each child can make everything easier to find when you need it! This can be extremely beneficial for PCSing. You'll appreciate having these records organized and ready to go. Just remember that recordkeeping requirements vary by state, so check what your current state requires.
