Due to extreme fire danger in the area, burning permits—including variances—will not be allowed to be activated starting today through Wednesday, May 14, 2025.

This applies to the following counties: Norman, Clay, Becker, Hubbard, Wadena, Otter Tail, Wilkin, Traverse, Grant, Douglas, Pope, and Stevens.

Please do your part to help prevent wildfires.
