Heard

Heard fosters creativity, confidence, self-worth and life skills to adults and others in need. In 2020 we conducted 207 classes to 1,617 non-unique clients.

Heard contracts with local artists to teach creativity and life skills through art to people in need who may be in recovery, survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault, LGBTQA, older adults, immigrant, incarcerated, or transitioning from incarceration or homelessness, through its partnerships with Alexandria and other area nonprofit and local government organizations.
