Some happy endings are just the beginning of a beautiful forever. 🥹💗🏡

After 1,084 days in foster care, Amaria found her forever home on October 7, 2026! A day filled with love, new beginnings, and the promise of a family to call her own. ✨

We are beyond happy for Amaria as she begins this exciting new chapter. Every child deserves to feel safe, loved, and home. Today, we’re celebrating her forever! 💕

This past weekend, our Children’s Advocacy Network team was spread across Louisiana, connecting with our community and sharing the mission of CAN! 🫶

From meeting new faces to building relationships and sharing information about our programs, services, and volunteer opportunities, every interaction was a chance to help more people learn how CAN supports children and families.

Last night was all about community, connection, and a little zoo fun! 🦁💙

Our CAN team had a great time joining our friends and neighbors for National Night Out at the Alexandria Zoo! 🐾 We loved getting out into the community, meeting so many amazing families, and being part of an evening dedicated to building stronger, safer communities together.

Our Children’s Advocacy Network team had the opportunity to attend the Louisiana Guardian Summit in Lafayette last week! 💙

We’re always grateful for opportunities to learn alongside others who are committed to strengthening the child welfare system and making a difference in the lives of children and families across Louisiana.
