AAYP is launching a new member recognition program to celebrate the outstanding young professionals who make a difference in our workplaces and community.

✨Young Professional of the Year – Recognizing an individual who exemplifies leadership, professional growth, and engagement within the community.
✨Rising Star Award – Recognizes an emerging young professional who has made a meaningful impact and demonstrated outstanding potential early in their career.
*Eligible nominees must be AAYP members within their first two years of membership.
✨Leadership in Action Award - Recognizes a member whose leadership, integrity, and commitment to service have made a meaningful impact in their workplace, community, or through AAYP. This individual inspires others, embodies AAYP values, and leads by example through both their actions and involvement.

Thank you to Legacy of The Lakes Museum for an engaging and informative luncheon last week! We enjoyed listening to Kaci share stories of our region’s deep boating history. 🚤 A big thank you is also in order to The Depot Smokehouse and Tavern for catering our lunch, it was delicious as always! 🍽️ We are grateful for the opportunity to connect, learn, and support organizations that enrich our community.

The Young Professionals Regional Summit is officially wrapped up for 2026! We enjoyed another day of learning, making new connections, and spending time with other young professionals from across the region.

Grateful for the opportunity to represent Alexandria and be part of such an inspiring group. 💙

Earlier this month, AAYP members were able to gather for lunch and listen to Robyn Snyder speak on Positivity. She even had everyone out of their seats high fiving and giving the biggest smiles they could!
