🌟 Member Spotlight: Myles Frueh
Meet Myles Frueh, the dynamic and charismatic President of Alexandria Technical and Community College DECA! Myles first joined DECA as a high school sophomore back in 2022, and four years later, he’s still going strong 💪
When asked about his favorite DECA memory, Myles lit up as he recalled traveling to San Francisco for the International Career Development Conference (ICDC). “Being able to see San Francisco and meet so many DECA members, many of whom I now call my friends, was truly a special memory that I hold dear to my heart,” he shared. 🌉💙
Outside of DECA, Myles is a Business Management and Sales/Marketing student with big dreams and even bigger energy. He’s also a YouTuber, hosting 'The Unspecified Show" where he posts everything from challenges to heartwarming videos. 🎬 When he’s not leading DECA or creating content, he enjoys public speaking so you might catch him hosting a game of Bingo, announcing sports, or watching La La Land (his favorite movie!) or the American version of The Office.
But wait — there’s more! Myles proudly admits that ice cream is his “kryptonite” 🍦 and fun fact: he owns over 50 suits! Talk about dressing for success! 👔🔥
Perhaps the coolest part? Myles is the creator of The DECA Dialogues, a series on Instagram () where he interviews DECA members from across the country and beyond. Each episode dives into their journeys, lessons learned, and how DECA has shaped who they are today. The episodes are full of laughter, insights, and connection — a perfect example of how DECA helps members grow not just as professionals, but as people. 🌎🎤
