We are half way there! just another $3000 and we can finish this project with solar power instead of a diesel generator.

Solar power to run our water pump will cost around US$6000. It’s a little more than a generator but will last longer with low maintenance.

Last day here, we went back to Sendemke. Found out that our generator that pumps water up to the village caught fire and is a total loss. Kind of a bummer that we found out the day before we leave. Now we need to raise funds for either a new 3 phase generator (125000-300000 KES around $1000-$2500 depending on the size and brand) Or we install a $6000 solar system.
Either way, we need your prayers and help!
