Wow that was a super productive morning yesterday at SLH! We started our project to sew patriotic fleece blankets for the 85 veterans who live in the home at Fergus Falls.

Daron cut 341 yards of fleece, Monica and Jeanette sewed like crazy, Laura had her hands full with organizing us, and planning for upcoming projects. Yes, we did take some time to "fellowship". God bless our "Difference Makers", and the veterans who will receive these blankets?

Dave Holm and 25 volunteers from The Lake Community Church came to help SLH with 4 different packings. So amazing! They packed welcome bags for Teen Challenge Alexandria and Teen Challenge Brainerd. Other projects were filling neck pillows with stuffing. These will bless cancer infusion centers and Ronald McDonald homes. Another project was to fill Day brightener bags for kids at Ronald McDonald House in Rochester and Mpls. Dave we are so happy that you and your group found us, please come back again...God Bless you all!

WOW and WOW, another busy fabulous day at SLH! So thankful for The volunteers from The Reality Assoc. Of Alexandria who packed food bags for our summer school food program, and some helped stuff our sewn toys for children in hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses.

Thank you Lizzy and grandma Laura for filling a ton of activity bags which will go to children's hospitals and Ronald McDonald homes. We loved having you all, and may God bless you for giving your time to help others ..."Difference Makers" in action today!!

These two "Difference Makers" are so amazing and SO appreciated by SLH!!! Horizon Public Health donated a new refrigerator for our free food pantry, and Chad and Bob installed it ! Our little free food pantry can now offer more variety with fresh foods . As garden season is here please know that we welcome any excess produce to fill our refrigerator.

Thanks Bob and Chad and all of our wonderful "Difference Makers"...

Pretty amazing afternoon today! A group from 1st Lutheran and Federated churches in Morris made the excursion to SLH to volunteer. So much catching up, but so much got done! The ladies packed totes full of snack bags they filled which will be used in our food pantry. The guys and Sharon assembled boxes which will be filled with snacks and delivered to veterans on Memorial weekend. . Thank you for the fun time..God bless

Blessings upon blessings! The 6th grade class at St. Mary's school of Alexandria collected Penney's during Lent and presented us a check for $1,210.59!! This class of students were so amazing and we welcome them back anytime. God bless you for your servant 💕 hearts.

So thankful for the Women's Mission group of Zion Lutheran Church of Alexandria, who had a "Cereal Drive" and presented us with 49, yes, 49 boxes of cereal and a cash donation to help SLH help those in our community who are facing food insecurity and who visit our free food pantry. Thank you for inviting us to share with you about our ministry, we enjoyed meeting you. God bless you.
