4-H clubs in Douglas County are raising funds for the 4-H building remodel by collecting coins! We are excited to help build the future! We also have a jar in our office, so if you have loose coins stop by and drop them off! All proceeds go towards the State Fair 4-H exhibit building remodel!

Look what Douglas County 4-H can do when we support young people. Thank you to all the clubs. Individuals and groups who contributed baskets and items.

Our hearts are filled with gratitude for the generous gift presented by Reagan and her family in support of Child Life at HCMC. Thirteen years have passed since Reagan’s hospital stay and the family continues to return to show their appreciation. This week, sisters Hayden and Reagan presented a check from the proceeds of the Douglas County 4-H silent auction they organized as part of the Douglas County Fair. A gift that will inspire joy and many smiles from our youngest patients.

Pope County 4-H has invited us to their fishing workshop.
Calling our outdoor enthusiasts! 4-H has a Fall Fishing Fest on October 3rd from 1-3:30PM on the shores of Lake Minnewaska at Starbuck City Park. Come complete challenges, compete in a mini contest to win fishing prizes, and best of all its FREE! Open to all youth grades K-13, see details and register at z.umn.edu/4hfallfishfest.
