The Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance LBCA, powered by Conquer Cancer’s EveryGrant, has awarded the Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance Early Investigator Invasive Lobular Carcinoma Research Grant to Kate Beecher Matthews, PhD, MSc, for her study, “Exploring SCUBE2 Loss as a Regulator of the Lobular Phenotype in Breast Cancer.”

The one-year, $50,000 grant provides funding to promising investigators to encourage and promote quality research in clinical oncology with a focus on invasive lobular breast cancer (ILC), providing critical support needed to establish an impactful career in ILC research.
