Sandra Frappier, CCM, CCE, made history as CMAA's first female president from 2001-2002, marking an important milestone and paving the way for future female leaders within the Association.

At CMAA's 3rd Annual Convention, the leadership of the Association revoked the Constitution and Bylaws in effect at that time. By proper motion a new Constitution and set of Bylaws were adopted, under which the Board of Directors unanimously recommended that the original charter of the Association under the laws of the State of Illinois be surrendered. A New resolution was adopted that the Association incorporated under the laws of the State of Michigan, as the laws in Michigan were more flexible for non-profit organizations. That's why LLC is headed to Detroit this year!
