Serving as an elected leader of NCRA allows Active members to give back to the profession while gaining valuable training, experience, and networking opportunities. One privilege of NCRA Active membership is participation in electing volunteer leaders. The Nominating Committee accepts and reviews/selects candidates each fall, with the election following in the winter.
The following positions will be on the 2027 NCRA ballot. Nominations are now open and will close November 2, 2026.

One-year term with rollup to President then Immediate Past President - three years total
Treasurer Junior
One-year term with rollup to Treasurer Senior- two years total
Education Board Director
Two-year term
Recruitment and Retention Board Director

Advocacy and Technical Practice Director- East

Advocacy and Technical Practice Director- West
Two-year term
Advocacy and Technical Practice Director- Midwest
