Dear High School Counselors,

We are pleased to partner with the Alexandria Downtown Rotary Club to share a scholarship opportunity for your graduating seniors.

The Rotary Club is offering scholarships to students planning to attend one of our local higher education institutions: Central Louisiana Technical Community College (CLTCC), Louisiana Christian University (LCU), or Louisiana State University of Alexandria (LSUA).

Deadline: February 20 at 5:30 p.m.

Key Requirement: The application must be completed in one sitting. Please encourage students to prepare all required content, essay, and materials in advance before beginning the online submission.

This is a wonderful opportunity for students to access financial support while continuing their education close to home. Please encourage eligible seniors to apply and to reach out if they have any questions about the application requirements.

For the safety of all of our members and our catering crew, we have decided to cancel our meeting tomorrow - Jan. 27. The State of the Club program will be rescheduled to February 17. Please join us on Tuesday, February 3 when our speaker will be Betsy Bradley from the Mississippi Museum of Art.

We kicked off an amazing 2026 with a packed house excited to learn more from Chris Masingill, President and CEO of Louisiana Central. Masingill and consultants outlined an economic development plan for Central Louisiana and outlined the “We Make Good Stuff” Roadshow.

Today, we congratulated Carlina Rika for receiving her Paul Harris Fellow.
