💜💪🏽 UPLIFT IN ACTION | THE MUSCLE TEAM ANSWERS THE CALL AGAIN! 🟣🟡

The Brothers of Psi Alpha Alpha Chapter were back in action today at Fort Belvoir Elementary School (FBES), unloading and setting up 8 pallets of fresh produce, proteins, and pantry staples in just 90 minutes!

The monthly FBES Family Food Market provides free groceries to school families and Fort Belvoir homeschoolers, helping combat food insecurity in our community.

Special thanks to FBES Coordinator Earnest Miles for his leadership and organization, and to the Brothers who continue showing up when it matters most!

Two schools. Two days. 16 pallets. One mission: UPLIFT! 💜💛

Psi Alpha Alpha proudly congratulates Bro. Col. Scotty Boler on successfully completing the Battalion and Brigade Pre-Command Course (BBPCC) at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas!

📚 SCHOLARSHIP IN ACTION | RIVERSIDE ELEMENTARY BOOK FAIR 🟣🟡

The Brothers of Psi Alpha Alpha Chapter were proud to support the Riverside Elementary School Book Fair on October 5–6!

Brothers Dwaine Jefferson, Phil Benjamin, Ken Younger, and K.C. Jones volunteered alongside students as they selected new books while putting real-world skills like budgeting, math, and decision-making into practice.

Thank you to Principal Peterson and the Riverside Elementary community for allowing the Fairfax County Ques to continue investing our time where it matters most—our youth.

🟣🟡 UPLIFT IN ACTION | WWMS FOOD MARKET

The Psi Alpha Alpha “Muscle Team” was back at it today at Walt Whitman Middle School! Brothers unloaded 8 pallets of fresh produce and dry goods in just 90 minutes, helping prepare the monthly food market that serves approximately 200–225 local families.

When an unexpected staffing challenge arose, the Brothers stepped in, worked together, and made sure the mission continued. Special shoutout to Bro. Antony Washington for supporting his first WWMS Food Market!

In partnership with Capital Area Food Bank and United Community, we’re proud to continue doing our part to fight food insecurity and serve our Fairfax County community.

Today WWMS. Tomorrow FBES. The work continues. 💪🏾

The Psi Alpha Alpha Scholarship Committee invites college-bound seniors attending Fairfax County or Arlington County high schools to enter the 2026–2027 International High School Essay Contest.

Share how young people can use leadership, service, and innovation to create positive change in their communities.

The local winner receives $500 and advances to district competition, with the opportunity to compete for international scholarships up to $5,000.

📝 Essay length: 700–750 words

📺 THE FAIRFAX COUNTY QUES ON NBC4 WASHINGTON! 🟣🟡

The Fairfax County Ques were up early this morning! Brothers of Psi Alpha Alpha Chapter, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. joined the Gum Springs community on NBC4 Washington’s 4 On Tour, broadcasting live from Ruthie’s All Day in Fairfax.

We had the opportunity to talk about something that means a great deal to our chapter; “serving and uplifting the historic Gum Springs Community.”

That work is made possible through strong relationships with the Gum Springs Advisory Board, Civic Association, Youth Athletic Association, Historical Society, and the staff of the Gum Springs Community Center. We’re proud to work alongside these organizations and the residents who continue to preserve Gum Springs’ history while investing in its future.

Thank you to Anchor Molette Green & NBC4 Washington for giving us the opportunity to share a little of that story this morning.
