The mission of Friendship House is to provide a safe and caring day program in a clean, homelike setting where adults find a renewed sense of self-worth through healthcare, socialization, and recreation.

Continuing our Black History Month speaker series, Friendship House was delighted to get to visit with Sandra Franklin of the Rapides Parish School Board. We are so grateful for her sharing her experiences, which reportedly inspired her calling to be a bridge for older generations to reach the younger. Sandra reminded us of how important it is to not only pass down our history, but to find meaning and forgiveness in that history. Your words were beautiful, and WE THANK YOU!

In celebration of the greatest quarterback to ever play college football, the participants at The Friendship House have one by one painted this of the one and only Joe Burrow's record-breaking pass.
Such joy to see the enthusiasm on their faces working on this group project while talking about Joe's accomplishments.

Friendship House was visited today by two amazing Serenity Home Care and Hospice talented ambassadors. Randy and Grae entertained our participants and there was definitely a lot of toe tapping and lip syncing going on. Thank you Becky Smith for arranging for these awesome guys to represent your company. You made our Friday extra special.
