A few missed beats, a little practice, and our drum circle found its rhythm.

No one had to get it right alone. They just had to listen, adjust and find their rhythm together.

And that's what makes our network so powerful. People bringing their knowledge, experiences and connections together to listen, learn and help others find the support they need. 💙

When wildfires tore through Payne County in March 2025, families in Stillwater lost more than houses. They lost keepsakes, routines, and the sense of safety that home is supposed to hold.

In the days that followed, United Way of Payne County helped turn a community center into a relief hub. Families found diapers, bottled water, hygiene supplies, and something just as important: each other.
