REMINDER…

Tonight’s meeting is for umpires who are in their first 3 years of service ONLY.

So if you have been considering starting your career in umpiring, tonight is a GREAT night to show up and learn some of the basics.

The ABUA will be hosting an LHSAA/LHSOA sanctioned umpires camp on Saturday January 24th, here in Alexandria.

Tonight is the LAST night to register at the discounted rate! Send in your Venmo or PayPal to take advantage.

Note: due to scheduling conflicts the clinicians listed on the flyer are no longer able to make it. The new clinicians will be SEC umpires and instructors James Ainsworth and Myron Miller. Come get D1 training from the first pitch!

It’s that time of the year again. Please consider joining us and giving back to the game you love by becoming a baseball umpire. Receive NCAA level training from the first pitch.

All meetings held at Pineville High School beginning at 5:30 PM and will last approximately one hour.

Saturday marked the end of the LHSAA football season, and while we are sad that it is over for our football brethren, the clock reading 0:00 in the Superdome means one thing… it’s time for baseball!

Mark your calendars. The first meeting of the Alexandria Baseball Umpires Association will be THIS Wednesday December 17th, 2025 @ 5:30 PM. Meetings will be held in the library of Pineville High School.
