The 2026 season has come to a close with our 3rd annual post-season banquet. We had a great time gathering at the Pineville Main Street Community Center for some good food and good fellowship.

We’d like to acknowledge the seven umpires that represented our association this year at the state tournament in Sulphur, including two first time state championship umpires.

The Division IV Select Championship game was officiated by Jeffrey Howard, Katetchre Perry, Christopher Kittling, and Sam Forester.

The Class B semifinal was officiated by Ethan Brown, Toriano Hurks, and Adrian Parks

Congrats to these seven umpires who represented our association well.

Last night we also recognized a number umpires for their years of service to the LHSAA, including Sam Forester(10 yrs), Jim Herrick(15 yrs),Michael Simpson(20 yrs), Travis Broussard(20 yrs), and Chet Bass(25 yrs).

We encourage everyone to consider joining our association and learn how you can stand in the gap in a significant way during this nation-wide officials shortage. The future of the game depends on it.
