🏆 The Tradition Continues at 🏆

Under a painted August sky, as the sun dipped low and shadows stretched across the courts, history was made once again.

The Sack Daddies—formerly known by many names, but always known for winning—Jake & Keith claimed their third consecutive title at the Carlos Creek Co****le Classic. Like true Masters champions, they donned their invisible Green Jackets with quiet confidence… and perhaps just a hint of smugness.

The Cornstars of the Creek—Kyle & Jim—gave them all they could handle, but fell just short in a hard-fought final that had the crowd holding its breath.

In the bronze medal match, Children of the Corn—Amelia & Regan—battled deep into the evening, showing grit and grace under pressure to secure 3rd place.

🌅 The final bags were tossed as the last rays of light faded, the boards glowing under the twilight. It was a night of camaraderie, competition, and co****le played at its finest—a true celebration of the game and the people who make it great.

Co****le Tournament Recap – “Miracle on the Maple: The Bags of Destiny”
Lake Miltona • Maples Edge Estates • Glory

“Do you believe in bags? YES!”

On the sacred shores of Lake Miltona, under the blazing July sun and the mighty pines of Maples Edge Estates, a battle raged. It wasn’t fought with swords, nor with guns… but with resin-filled destiny and unapologetic swagger.

The arena? A humble patch of driveway.
The warriors? Legends in the making.
The mission? Immortality through co****le.

From the opening toss, it was clear this wasn’t your grandpa’s backyard bag fest.
This was The Show.

And at the center of this glorious melee?
Two young assassins of the airmail:
GAVIN & JOEY — the Bag Brothers of Doom.
Barely old enough to rent a car, but with the steely nerves of Olympic snipers.
They sliced through the winners’ bracket like a hot knife through Bud Light.
Unblemished. Untouched. Unholy.

But lurking in the depths of the losers’ bracket like grumpy gladiators emerged…
KYLE & JIM — battle-hardened, sunburned, fueled by muscle memory and ibuprofen.
The old dogs weren’t done yet.
They roared back, winning match after match, fueled by pride, grit, and mild arthritis.

The final was a saga.
The underdogs struck first, handing the young guns their first loss of the day.
People gasped. Children wept. A bald eagle literally flew overhead.
Momentum had shifted.

But then…
With all of Lake Miltona watching…
Gavin and Joey dialed up the clutch gene.
Boards were scorched. Bags levitated.
They bagged the title in a final match for the ages.

3rd place?
A strong showing by Travis & Matt—a duo of youthful flair and chaotic energy.
They brought the heat, but fell just short of the mountaintop. Still, their TikToks slapped.

Trash talk was flying.
Old men were limping.
And somewhere in the background, you could hear someone yelling,
“HOW DID THAT NOT STICK?!”

But make no mistake:

After weeks away fighting battles unknown (mostly against laundry and broken boards), I have returned. Like a ghost stepping from the corn dust, I emerge with a single burning question for the good people of West Central Minnesota:

Are there any public co****le tournaments happening this Patriotic 4th of July weekend?

🏀 MARCH BAGNESS: THE SEASON FINALE 🏀

One night. One bracket. One shot at glory.

For months, the competition raged on, but when it came down to championship night, only the strongest survived. The field was stacked. The pressure was suffocating. Every throw, a buzzer-beater. Monday Night Co****le @ Alex VFW was epic!

💰 Leonard—the dynasty, the legend, the co****le equivalent of a #1 seed who refuses to fall—took home the title and over $450 in winnings. He stood in the clutch and delivered, cementing his legacy once again.

💰 Chris, the longtime rival, fought tooth and nail through the bracket, taking home over $225 for second place. He gave it everything, but in the end, it was Leonard’s one shining moment.

💰 Brady, the Cinderella story, battled through a brutal double elimination bracket to land in third, pocketing over $75 and proving that underdogs always have a shot in March.

💰 Jayden, fierce until the very end, landed in fourth, but walked away knowing he pushed the best to their limits.

As the sun set over the Alexandria, VFW, the stage was set for yet another chapter in co****le history. The air was thick with anticipation, the crowd hushed in reverence, knowing they were about to witness something special.

And on this hallowed ground, after months—perhaps years—of heartbreak and near misses, Chris finally claimed his Masters like moment. With the grace of a seasoned veteran and the nerves of a true champion, he delivered a performance worthy of the ages, unseating the legendary Leonard and capturing his first-ever 1st place finish. 🏆

Leonard, the cornerstone of this great game, the man who has stood atop the co****le world for so long, fought valiantly but settled for 2nd place. As the final bags fell, he nodded in quiet approval—recognizing, perhaps, that even the greatest must one day pass the torch.

But amidst the giants, a new challenger emerged. Derek, a newcomer to this storied tradition, etched his name into the history books, securing 3rd place in his Monday Night Co****le debut. The question now lingers: Is he merely a promising upstart, or is he destined for greatness?

🏀 Monday Night Co****le on FRIDAY NIGHT: MARCH BAGNESS MAYHEM 🏀

Brackets were set. Bags were flying. Legends were falling.

In one of the most shocking collapses in co****le history, two of the sport’s biggest names—Leonard & Chris—never made it out of the lower bracket alive. Their championship dreams? Busted. Their legacy? Questioned. Their bags? Uncharacteristically off target.

Chris, paired with Kyle, fought hard but couldn’t climb out of the lower bracket trenches. Meanwhile, Leonard and newcomer Terry (repping Oregon) had their hopes dashed early, as Terry learned the hard way that the boards in Minnesota show no mercy. This wasn’t the Pacific Northwest—this was the madness of March co****le. 🌪️

With the old guard in shambles, Brady & Jayden seized the moment and claimed 1st place, proving youth and hunger can’t be underestimated. Brittni & Bradley, the Cinderella story of the night, danced their way to 2nd, showing poise under pressure.
