On Sunday our Chapter carried on the proud tradition of volunteering at the Adironduck race at the Oswegatchie Educational Center! Some amazing weather made for a great day! Thanks to all that helped

Members competed in the Agricultural Mechanics Career Development Event at SUNY Cobleskill today. The contest consisted of written exams, electrical wiring, land surveying, welding and engine troubleshooting.

Our members competed at Substates in the agricultural issues contest and Sr People in Agriculture. Our Agricultural Issues team did a skit presentation on the changing water levels of the St Lawrence River and the effects it has on both people and the environment. They made it to the finals and eventually came in 4th. So very proud of our members, they competed hard and gave it their all. Well done!!

Our FFA members competed at the FFA district LDE public speaking contest today in South Lewis. Congratulations to Allison McCormick and our Ag Issues team for placing high enough to move onto SubStates in March. Great job to all those competing today!!
