I understand that there are a handful of people that were upset about the post I made about the Halloween party this past weekend. I want to apologize to anyone who is offended by the picture. I also want to apologize to the people that donated their time and money helping put the event together and then got ridiculed and called names due to the picture I posted. I sincerely am sorry for setting that sequence of events off. It certainly was not my intention for any of that. With that said I would like to encourage our entire community to be better, myself included. We live in a little slice of heaven on earth and for some reason there is a lot of negativity regularly posted on Facebook. Can't we find the positive things out here and share that. Have any of you ever posted your negative thoughts and it fixed anything? I would assume it has not and if so it would have to be extremely rare. I can assure you the negativity does not help bring this community together, it just puts up boundaries between us. I have heard so many people say they wish things could be like the good ole days. Well in the good ole days people accepted others for who they were and did not judge others from different walks of life. I know today's social media driven world is full of judgment, but if you truly want things to be better here don't spread all the negative. If you don't have something nice to say, is it not better to keep our mouths shut? We have people out here from a lot of different walks of life, not one is better than the other. So let's focus on the positives and not judge people who may have different views. It is okay to disagree on things and still be respectful and friendly. That is how people treated each other in "the good ole days." So I say I agree, let's bring back the good ole days. Let's all bring out the positives in our community and all work on being better neighbors. I for one will work on this myself.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
