As the first heat of the Summer draws near, The Surreal Sirkus and Fallout ArtSpace invite you to celebrate the Solstice with two days and nights of live music, fire spinning, sideshows, ritual theater, and the next chapter of the Tale of the Cosmic Eggs: The Red Egg.

Come experience incredible performances by some of the best musicians in the region and beyond in a truest unique location less than half an hour from downtown Asheville.

This event is a fundraiser for Arts 2 People and Fallout ArtSpace, two great non-profit organizations working to support artists in the Asheville area.

Featuring:
Surreal Sirkus - Unifire Theater - Chilltonic - Servant of Dance - The Wyrmlings of Light Firewalks - Toybox - Bryant Perez - Serpent Haus - Polly Panic - Logos - Space Fiddle - Circles, Stars, & Squares - Log’s Electric Space Whistle - Southron Rancor - The Mudslingers - The Richter Nebula - Jax Silver Tree - Asheville Hoops.

The theme for the weekend is the element of fire in all of its manifestations and it will culminate in a collaboration performance piece by Unifire Theater and Surreal Sirkus that will tell the story of the Red Egg through fire dance, live music, and storytelling.

Participants will also have the opportunity to deepen their relationship to fire by taking part in a firewalk facilitated by Wyrmlings of Light FireWalks.

Plus, there will be local vendors, nightly bonfires, a fire effigy, workshops, and much more.

Sunday afternoon the festivities will end with an ecstatic dance led by Asheville’s own Servant of Dance (formerly Nata Das).

Join Us for Rise and Rebuild: Disaster Relief Concert at Fallout ArtSpace!

Dear Community,

We invite you to be part of a meaningful and exciting day at Rise and Rebuild: Disaster Relief Concert, an all-day festival to support Fallout ArtSpace artists affected by Hurricane Helene. Join us on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from noon to 10 PM at Fallout ArtSpace, 475 Fletcher Martin Rd., Alexander, NC 28701.

This family-friendly event will feature an incredible lineup of local music, including performances by Mad Mike, Safety, Coffin, Southron Rancor, and many more! Enjoy browsing a vibrant local vendors market and savor delicious food and drinks from regional favorites.

As the evening unfolds, experience a spectacular nighttime fire arts showcase with fire spinning, dancing, and a breathtaking ancestral firewalk, Chakana Crossing. The event will also include a ceremonial burn to mark this unforgettable day of resilience and community spirit.

Tickets are $15 per person at the gate! All proceeds will go toward assisting Fallout ArtSpace artists impacted by Hurricane Helene. Your presence and support will make a real difference in helping our creative community rebuild and thrive.

**EVENT CANCELLATION**
To our dear Fallout Artspace and WNC community...
We love you. We see your incredible fighting spirit. We see your strength and your bravery and your love for each other. While hurricane Helene left Fallout's property relatively undamaged, it has devastated many people in our community and the land we call home.

*Our celebration planned for October 25th is on hold indefinitely.* If you had been planning on attending this event, please take any funds that may have gone to Fallout Artspace and put them back into your local community. If you are in Northern Buncombe County, you can drop off donations of supplies at Fallout so that we can distribute them to our local community.

Necessary supplies include:
Drinking water
Diapers
Formula
Sanitizer
Paper products
Canned goods
Flashlights
Batteries
Pet foods
OTC medications
Hygeine products

If you are interested in volunteering yourself and your time, consider contacting .collective or head to the Asheville Register of Deeds office (205 College St, Asheville, NC 28801) between 10 am and 12 pm.

Don’t miss our Art Market MiniFest on August 11th from 12 PM to 5 PM. Enjoy live music by Log’s Electric Space Whistle, Mark’s Trippy Noise Coaster, Waas Sauce, and more! while browsing unique creations from local artists and vendors. Fallout ArtSpace has announced that their events planned for July have been rescheduled to August due to infrastructure updates. The organization will resume activities on August 8. They encourage people to check for further updates and express gratitude for the continued support!
