❗Take Action Now ❗

🚨TAKE ACTION: Protect American Beef Production 🚨

(ACTION REQUEST LINK IN COMMENTS)

Illinois Farm Bureau and Illinois Beef Association are asking you to urge Congress and the White House to protect American beef production.

An additional 660 million pounds of foreign beef is set to enter the U.S. over just 90 days at prices 25% below market value, undercutting producers.

Now is not the time. Farmers need long-term market stability, allowing producers to rebuild the U.S. cattle herd, increase American beef production and ensure consumers have access to a safe, abundant and affordable food supply.

Tomorrow, September 3rd, our office will be closed due to staff attending meetings. This only affects the Farm Bureau office. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month, a time to come together as a community to raise awareness, promote understanding, and support those affected by su***de. Let's encourage open dialogue, learn the warning signs, and help connect people to the resources they need. Every conversation matters. If you or someone you know is in crisis, call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline, or dial 911 in an emergency.

Together, we can save lives.
