FULL!!!! We are holding a low-cost cat NEUTER clinic for male cats 4 months of age or older on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 in Viola for MERCER COUNTY residents. The cost is $40 which includes a rabies vaccination as required by IL law. If there are any signs of fleas, a capstar will be administered at an additional cost of $8. Only 2 cats per household due to limited space. CALL or TEXT (309) 751-8484 to make an appointment. If there's no answer leave a message. Calls (texts) will be returned in the order in which they are received. Space is limited. Please share this with your friends and family that don't use Facebook. No appointments are made using Facebook. Call with questions. FVRCP (kitty distemper), de-wormer, microchip are also offered that day at a reasonable rate; sign up for them that day at the clinic. If you wish to have your outside cat's ear tipped (recommended) to show that your cat has been neutered, please let us know. Pick up no later than 2:30pm. Again, this is for Mercer County residents only.

As we prepare for July 4th festivitiesā€¦.We are starting to hear random fireworks and other loud outdoor celebrations and that can really upset some of our fur friends. Please contact your vet soon and they can possibly give you medicine or provide suggestions on how we can decrease the anxiety and avoid a stressful situation for our best fur friends! Have a happy and safe holiday!
