I would like to let everyone know that Friends For Seniors was very active in 2015 and continues to serve Parker county seniors in 2016! I want to thank everyone for your donations of time, talent and medical equipment last year! We built ramps, provided walkers, CPAP machines and wheel chairs!

We are in need of WALKERS & WHEEL CHAIRS! Please let me know if you can help! Thank you and God bless you!

Another ramp completed today!!

Thank You to the men & women of Master’s Builders! Jeff O’Donald of the Aledo United Methodist Church coordinates the projects and men and women from various local congregations participate in building ramps every month in Parker County!

Friends For Seniors was able to raise the needed funds and the labor was graciously donated by Master’s Builders!

Rhonda Fortenberry Zara, Kristi Cooper, Tami Fitzgerald...your generosity will change a life on Sunday as the Aledo United Methodist Church's Master Builders ministry gather to build a wheelchair ramp for a gentleman in Springtown, TX! Thank you isn't adequate but I say it with much gratefulness and appreciation!

Thank you Tami Fitzgerald and Kristi & Chris Cooper for supporting Friends For Seniors! A wheelchair ramp will be built for a Springtown gentleman on Sunday! I also want to thank Willow Park Baptist Church and the Aledo United Methodist Church for your financial and volunteer support! Wow! God is so good!

Good Morning FB Peeps! Please pray for the 501c3 letter to arrive! Please consider helping with one of the following service opportunities:

Current Friends For Seniors needs:

1) I have a lady that needs her house cleaned. She needs it on a weekly basis. Please let me know if there's a week you can volunteer a couple hours to clean. Just tell me what week, and I'll partner you with another volunteer so we'll have at least a couple working together.

2) Sheetrock repair. It's attic type situation converted to a bedroom (a-frame ceiling).

3) I have a couple in the Weatherford that needs a yard mowed.

4) Two different couples need threshold ramps for doorways. I need financial help to purchase these already made out of rubber. They're about $100 each, and I need 4.

Scholarships will be given to recipients in the form of “Vouchers”. The scholarships will provide either non-medical care or respite care. The scholarships will be NON-TRANSFERABLE. Any scholarship that is not used must be returned to Friends For Seniors, LLC.

The last couple of weeks have really been amazing! Electrical work for a senior couple, a hospital bed recycled for a family with no funding, a walker & potty chair for a senior lady and finally, a garage door repaired for a senior lady!

The Wills & The Websters in concert la night at Willow Park Baptist Church! It was a fund raiser for Friends For Seniors! Praise God we raise $1,400.00! Thanks to all who came and gave! What a night!
