📢 ImPoRtAnT AnNoUnCeMeNt for Dog Owners 🐾

Every year this topic sparks debate — some fest fans totally understand, while others wish they could bring their furry friends along. But we want to remind everyone that only official service dogs are allowed within the Aledo Rhubarb Fest event area.

This is due to City of Aledo Ordinance 6-2-11-8, which prohibits dogs at public events like Rhubarb Fest.

While we know many pets are wonderful companions, Rhubarb Fest brings extremely large crowds, busy streets, packed sidewalks, strollers, wheelchairs, food areas, loud music, and lots of activity that can quickly become overwhelming and unsafe for pets and people alike.

👉 Narrow sidewalks and crowded streets can make movement difficult and create safety concerns.
👉 Hot pavement and summer temperatures can also be hard on pets.
👉 For everyone’s safety — including your pet’s — we kindly ask that you leave pets at home.

We truly appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation as we work to keep Aledo Rhubarb Fest safe and enjoyable for all visitors.
