As the summer comes to an end, all of us in Greenbrier County must prepare to part ways. Here is what we’ll be up to after we leave Greenbrier:

-Emily will be continuing her studies through James Madison University working towards her Sociology Degree.

-Parker will be entering his junior year at East Tennessee State University where he is studying political science and history.

-Leah will be entering her senior year at the University of Pittsburgh where she will continue her studies in applied developmental psychology.

-Emmy will be entering her sophomore year at North Carolina State University where she will continue her studies in biochemistry.

We are all so grateful to have spent the summer in Greenbrier County and will miss this place and these people a lot. Thank you to ASP for bringing us together in Greenbrier County. Until next time!

After photos at Lord of The Dance!
This summer, we removed and replaced the basement stairs. In the bathroom, we completed a subfloor repair, installed a new toilet, painted, and installed floor coverings and trim. We also painted the living room, and removed and replaced soffit under the porch roof! Thank you to our volunteers who helped make this home safer and more comfortable for our homeowners!

This summer, we removed and replaced ceiling drywall in the hallway and living room, primed, painted, installed new flooring, and installed trim in the living room, hallway, and bedroom, replaced a window and siding on the front of the home, and painted the front porch! Thank you to our volunteers who helped to make this home safer, drier, and more comfortable for these homeowners!

This summer, we removed and replaced the front and back steps, installed a new back door, and completed a full living room re-model including wall and ceiling drywall, floor coverings, paint, and trim! We also completed a full floor system replacement in the bathroom. The bathroom re-model will be continued by ASP post-summer and completed within the next few weeks! Thank you to our volunteers for all of their hard work on this home this summer!

After photos at Relaxi Taxi!
This summer we installed a new metal roof on the main portion of the home, installed rafters and metal roofing on the home's addition and installed underpinning around the entire home. We repaired and replaced portions of the floor system in the bathroom, repaired plumbing and installed new bathroom fixtures, painted, and installed floor coverings and trim in the bathroom. In addition, we removed a bay window/wall in the back bedroom and replaced it with two new windows and a new wall complete with insulation and vinyl siding. We completed drywall repairs, subfloor repairs, painted, and installed floor coverings and trim in the bedroom as well. Finally, we installed a 5x5 porch and steps off of the back door! Thank you to all of our volunteers who helped to make this home warmer, safer, and drier!

This summer, we completed a full kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room refurbishment including floor system repairs, plumbing repairs, installation of new bathroom fixtures, drywall, painting, floor coverings, trim, installation of new cabinets, a new stove, and a new back door! Thank you to all of our volunteers who helped to make this home safer and more comfortable for our homeowners!

This summer, we installed underpinning around the entire home, completed an SBS overlay on a portion of the roof, and installed new steps off the front of the home! Thank you to our volunteers who helped to make this home warmer, safer, and drier!
