The team will be sending around red buckets during the show, and would appreciate any and all cash donations. Enjoy the day!!!!!!

This was a very busy boating weekend on the lake. There were some people who were not practicing safe boating. There was water skiing in the dark, a child fell off the front of a pontoon boat and was almost run over by the boat and a swimmer was brushed by the hull of a fiberglass boat too close to shore and with a large wake.

The jumping off of the RR trestle is not only trespassing on NYS DOT property but unsafe for the jumpers and watercraft.

PLEASE PRACTICE SAFE BOATING!!!!!

Pay attention to non motorized boats and people in the water.

Use navigation lights when cruising at night and do not use your Docking Lights!!!! Those lights blind other boaters.

When you observe unsafe boating or any serious violations of the law please, call the Sheriff's office dispatcher to report what you see. The number is (315) 736-0141.

Let's all be safe out there and enjoy our beautiful lake and environment and please, respect each other.

To avoid any confusion, there WILL NOT be any Island Fun Day this year.

Unfortunately, the island is being washed away by high water levels, leaving little or no landmass. There is not enough land to hold this event.

2.5” of rain fell yesterday very quickly. The lake has risen over a foot thus far. please check your dock lines and anything loose that may have been left near shore lines.

If you find yourself on the water today please use caution near shores so that wakes do not disturb anything further and keep your eyes out for items floating in the water.
