Our annual Alden Garden Club Spring Plant Auction was a big success. Many people attended and had a fun time. The Auctioneers had us laughing too. 🌺💐🌷🌻🪻🌿🪴

It's that time of year. WEDNESDAY MAY 20th. Come out to the annual Alden Garden Club Spring Plant Auction! Starts at 6PM and it's FREE to attend. There will be a big variety of plants plus other items up for auction and a basket raffle. Bring a canned food item for a donation to the Alden Marilla Food Pantry. It will be held at the Alden Community Center 13116 W. Main Street in the village of Alden. 🌺💐🌷🌻🪻🌿🪴

Our speaker for the March meeting was Stephanie Czerniak, 4-H Instructor for the Cooperative Extension of Wyoming County. The presentation was about chickens. Stephanie brought her hen named Sweetie.

Last fall in November, our club had the opportunity to create our own wreath at Hojnacki's Tree Farm.

Another garden walk for the Alden Garden Club. It was windy and cooler for an August evening. Yet we all enjoyed getting together. 🌳🍃🌿

Alden Garden Club was invited to our president Wendy's house. We enjoyed delicious food and an informative walk through her garden.

Alden Garden Club hosted a bus trip to the southern tier of WNY. We traveled to Merritt Estate Winery for a delicious chicken dinner, wine tasting and a stroll through the garden. Next we had a guided tour of Chautauqua Institute and on the way home, stopped at Harvest View Greenhouses in Fredonia.
