And with that, our week of "time travel" at EG camp is over. But we hope the girls strengthened many friendships and learned a lot throughout their time this week. On Friday, they learned about how God follows through when we trust in Him. After weathering the storm, Noah's family was saved and God sent a rainbow as his promise to him. As we all part ways for the rest of the summer, remember God's promises to plan, protect, and provide for you. The verse of the day was Isaiah 26:3-4.

We're nearing the end of our week, but the girls are still having so much fun. On Thursday, we learned about how Noah had to trust in God's protection while he was weathering the storm. The girls were assured that they too can be under God's divine protection- Everything that we experience has already gone through the hand of God. The verse of the day was Psalm 28:7. We've reached the middle of the week! On Wednesday, the girls learned about how God provides for us in times of trouble, just like how He provided for Noah and met all his needs during a great storm. The verse of the day was Psalm 62:7-8. Only a few more fun-filled days to go!

Camp is in full "swing" for day 2! The girls learned about how God had a 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣 to save Noah from the flood that would cover the earth. And just like He had a plan for Noah, he has a plan for each of our lives, too- All we have to do is trust in Him. Our verse of the day was Isaiah 12:2. We've all experienced difficult trials in our lives. People from the Bible, such as Paul, were no stranger to storms, imprisonment, and other obstacles of all kinds. However, God reminds us through Hebrews 12:11 that these trials are like a forging fire- in the moment, they are certainly not pleasant, but in overcoming them, they produce fruits of righteousness in our lives. So, we invite you to reflect on your own life. Was there an event that was difficult for you to live through, but made you a stronger person because of it? How can you apply that kind of appreciation to something you are going through today?
