A big thank you to Matt Pahl and the team at Pacific Fusion for hosting us for a tour of their Los Lunas Fusion Plant!
It was a great opportunity to learn more about the exciting work happening in fusion energy and the innovative technology being developed right here in New Mexico. We appreciate Matt taking the time to share Pacific Fusion’s vision and operations.
There is also a tremendous opportunity to connect this kind of innovation with the students at Academies of Albuquerque. As New Mexico’s technology and advanced energy sectors continue to grow, we must invest in our students, create pathways to hands-on learning and meaningful careers, and help develop the next generation of skilled talent right here at home.
By strengthening the connections between industry and education, we can inspire students to pursue careers in STEM, support our growing technology ecosystem, and ensure New Mexico’s brightest young minds have opportunities to learn, work, and build their futures right here in our state.
Thank you again, Matt, for the hospitality and for the opportunity to see firsthand how innovation, education, and workforce development can come together to help shape New Mexico’s future!
