The Grief Center is excited to welcome our new Director of Development, Jennifer Galloway, to the team! Jennifer is passionate about building relationships that strengthen community support and expand access to services. She earned her degree in Wildlife Management from Cal Poly Humboldt. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, fishing, and reading.

Jennifer is responsible for leading Grief Center program advancement by working to meet ambitious fundraising goals 💜

Thank you to our Golfer Swag Sponsors! First Citizens Bank and Glass-Rite Windows & Doors are the two companies that have supported The Grief Center's participation in the upcoming 21st Annual Community Charity Golf Classic by sponsoring some awesome golfer swag items ⛳

Swag sponsorships were a way for us to raise extra money on top of our basic fundraising goals for this event. And each year, beneficiary nonprofit organizations receive $3 – $4 back for every $1 they raise! We're so grateful for our friends at First Citizens Bank and Glass-Rite!

The Grief Center needs a few more Big Buddies for our June Camp Corazón - males especially! Volunteer Big Buddies have fun and help our campers follow their schedules, stay safe and are a friend to support them through their weekend at Camp.

Painting with a Twist

In this free workshop, you will be invited to walk one of the two canvas labyrinths at The Grief Center. Walking the labyrinth can be a helpful tool for those going through grief. The twists and turns of the labyrinth mirror the ups and downs of grief. The labyrinth can be a tool to guide healing, deepen self-knowledge and empower the walker.
