This free, family-friendly event features live music (including Irie Kristoff of Reviva and SuPrimoFunk), food trucks, local vendors, arts and crafts, and more.

In collaboration with the South Valley Youth Initiative and the Center of Southwest Culture, and with the support of Bernalillo County Commissioner Frank Baca (District 2), Summer Jam aims to connect middle and high school students with resources, mentorship, and community support.

All are welcome!

Join us for our the 3rd event in our series at Rio Bravo Park. This event serves as a celebration of you, the community, the wonderful folks who have supported this important initiative! Our mission is to bring the community together to inspire, motivate and empower our next generation of leaders! This youth centered event, produced in partnership with Commissioner Frank Baca, aims to provide resources, mentoring and information to Middle / High School students but all are welcome at this Free community power ed event. This Free / Family event will feature live music from Chris Brennan of Revíva and SuPrimoFunk - Glenn Buddhafunk Benavidez / , food trucks, arts / crafts vendors, local school participation, the The University of New Mexico - UNM Agora Crisis Center of more! Join us this Sunday May 25, 10-2 at Rio Bravo State Park for our SVYI Event Series where Whole Foods Market will be distributing free healthy food thanks to their Local Giving / In-Kind program! We will have live music from El Gozao Abq paletas from Pop Fizz, artisan vendors food trucks and school participation as well as many community groups to offer info, resources and support!
