Albuquerque Youth Rugby United AYRU is a legal non-profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to developing boys & girls rugby, contact and non-contact, in Albuquerque metro area.

The AYRU is a 10-year old non-profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to developing boys and girls youth rugby in Albuquerque, and is sanctioned by USA Rugby (governing body for all rugby in the USA). We play non-contact rugby for all ages 7 and up, and contact rugby for ages 12 and up. Our Spring 2017 season kicks off in late February with practices, and matches begin in March running throug

h May. We also offer other Learn to play rugby events in the fall. More info coming soon, dates and events to watch out for.

What a fantastic day at Turkey Touch! We had almost 250 players ranging in age from 5-55, from all areas of the state! Thank you to everyone who helped, in particular Jim Domina for running everything smoothly! We had fabulous families playing as teams and terrific teams playing as families! It was an incredible community event! Thank you all!
