Ventana Ranch Neighborhood Association We Are Neighbors Helping Neighbors, We seek to promote a better neighborhood through group action so Ventana is the best place to live in Albuquerque.

• We are your neighborhood advocates.

• We are all volunteer. Membership is also voluntary and open to all residents and businesses in VR and VRW.

• We work for roads, schools, parks, better public safety and commercial services.

• We were instrumental in getting Paseo, Unser and McMahon completed and in getting 5 new schools built.

• We provide town hall meetings with your elected representa

tives and public officials.

• We listen to you through polls, e-mails, web discussions and community outreach!

• We are active in APD crime prevention programs.

• We inform and educate through e-news, The Windows newsletter, ventanaranch.org and community events.

• We are Join-A-School Partners with Ventana Ranch Elementary

• We are the charter organization for Ventana Ranch Cub Scout Packs 100 & 114.

• We testify before City Council, County Commission, APS and other legislative bodies on behalf of our neighbors. We maintain a working relationship with all public and elected representatives.

• We do cooperative planning with the city, county and the development community, ensuring that only quality projects are built.

• We encourage active participation in elections by registering voters and providing voter education.

• Our members serve on many important community
committees, boards and task forces.

West Side NM House State Representatives warmly invite you to our pre-legislative town hall meeting next Saturday, January 17, at Ladera golf course from 10 AM to noon. Doors open at 9:30 AM and light refreshments will be served. We will share our perspectives on the upcoming 30 day session and listen to your questions and suggestions. Hope to see you there!
