We hear from parents quite a bit who are told their child is too old to start a sport or who are discouraged from participating because their child will not be "helpful" to the team.

Youth sports are not about whether kids are good enough. Being too old to start or being too short is an excuse given by someone who only wants to win. If it is safe and it will build valuable life skills, create memories, be fun, and instill positive traits...sign them up!

Saw this and wanted to share how important it is we let our young athletes know their value outside of any extracurricular activity, especially as they prepare to start a new school year.
