Neighbors Helping Neighbors 💧🤝

A recent storm compromised Tularosa’s only water source, preventing water from reaching the reservoir. What followed was a great example of neighboring communities and coworkers coming together to solve a crisis.

Angel Voorbach and the Tularosa utilities crew quickly developed a plan to clear the blockage. When a critical fitting was needed, La Luz MDWCA stepped up, and Cloudcroft provided a larger pump to help with the effort.

A huge shout-out to NMRWA Circuit Rider Eddie Lueras, Angel Voorbach, Brett Saenz, John Salazar, Nathan Betancur, Sam Betancur, and Joe Chavez for their teamwork and professionalism.

This is what mutual aid is all about—neighbors helping neighbors when it matters most. 💧
