Interested in getting more involved with NMCA?

The current Communications Chair is hoping to transition into a new role within NMCA in the near future, which means the Communications Chair position may soon become available.

This role involves helping manage NMCA's social media presence and newsletter communications to keep members informed about professional development opportunities, advocacy efforts, events, resources, and more. To support a smooth transition, the current Communications Chair would partner with and help train the incoming volunteer and continue to support them in their role.

NMCA board positions generally require a commitment of approximately 6 hours per month, including one board meeting each month. Participation in conference planning is helpful but may not be necessary depending on the role and availability.

If you enjoy communication, marketing, social media, member engagement, or simply want to contribute to the counseling profession in New Mexico, we'd love to hear from you!

Please reach out if you would like to learn more or express interest in this opportunity. [email protected]
