To all of our Cinderella girls: take a moment to realize just how far you’ve come. The rehearsals, the preparation, the nerves, the excitement, the laughter, and the dreams you’ve carried in your heart have all led you to this moment.

As the countdown continues, remember that you don’t have to be perfect—you simply have to be yourself. Your kindness, confidence, determination, and unique sparkle are what make you truly unforgettable.

We are excited to announce the 2nd Annual New Mexico Cinderella Alumni Essay Award!
Sponsored by the NM Cinderella Alumni Association.
Open to Tot-Woman contestants and outgoing royalty at the 2026 NM Cinderella State Finals this June in Albuquerque, NM. Cash prize will be awarded at this year’s awards banquet (June 21st).

Groups and questions-
Tot- Cinderella has been special for 50 years! If you could celebrate a big birthday for Cinderella, what would your party look like?
Mini Miss & Miss - For 50 years, Cinderella has helped girls shine. What does it mean to ‘shine’ in your own life?
Teen & Woman - For 50 years, Cinderella has empowered young women. What does empowerment mean to you, and how do you demonstrate it in your life?
Essays will be judged by a seperate panel of judges from the overall compeition
Each Winner will receive a $100 cash scholarship (3 awards will be given)
Tot: 150 word limit
Mini Miss-Miss: 250 word limit
Teen-Woman: 500 word limit

Because of their sacrifice, we are blessed with the freedoms we hold dear and the moments we share with those we love. On this Memorial Day, we remember their courage, their selflessness, and the families who carry their legacy forward each day.
