WANNA TRADE??? ON OUR FACEBOOK WALL:
Post Pics (and/or descriptions) of Items and Services you have or want to trade for! We will do our best to get you connected with others who have what you are looking for or need what you got! Bring your own tables, canopies, or displays to events
(We can lend you a table for $5 or trade)
ACCEPTABLE TRADES:
- All legal items are encouraged and considered!
- Food/Water, Shelter, Clothing, Medical Supplies, Fuels, and other survival tools are necessities that should included.
- Services pertaining to Health, Wellness, Beauty, Mechanical, Craftsmen, Labor, Recreational, Entertainment, Home/Office Supplies are also invaluable.
-Local Businesses are encouraged to donate or trade gift certificates to local artists and merchants, who can then in turn, trade those for other barter items. You may also offer your merchandise to trade to the general public!
- CASH is Also TRADE-ABLE!!! We would love to encourage everyone to not use any money for transactions, however, we understand that money may be the item you are most in need of at the time for things like rent, gas, phone bills, and the like, so it is acceptable to trade for cash as well! Eventually we hope to figure out a way to incorporate utilizing the Federal Notes as a way to further develop our barter club so trading can become a lot more easier, better marketed and advertised! We are considering asking for a finders fee or percentage of the trade item value. Example: If Acey or I help you link up with another member for a trade transaction, valued around $500 newly purchased, then we'd ask for only 10% of the value, or only $25 from each trader for a total of $50, for helping you make the trade happen. And to help keep 505 Barter Club Strong! Most recent trades at our clubs have been valued at under $100, so the percentage would more likely be only $5 a person! But this is just an idea and we are open to suggestions! And we're not sure if we like how other barter clubs have gone to a coupon system because that is hardly any different than using Federal Reserve Notes anyways. But the barter clubs with points and credits earned may be a better example to follow. Thank you for trading with 505 Barter Club!
