Training the Workforce Our Industry Depends On

This National Apprenticeship Week, we celebrate the instructors, staff, and apprentices who make Local 49’s apprenticeship program one of the best in the country.

SMART Local Union 49 Joint Apprenticeship Training Program trains the workforce our members are proud to stand beside and our contractors depend on. HVAC, architectural sheet metal, welding, fabrication. This is where skilled professionals are built.

With our new training facility opening in Lubbock this summer, that work gets even stronger. More access. More opportunity. More trained Local 49 talent ready for the work ahead.

To everyone who teaches, supports, and shows up to learn this trade: thank you.

This is how we build the future of Local 49.
